Shell ~ Everyone thinks I'm taller even people that see me in real life.... I think it has to do with posture and how I carry myself.
Even before this conversation started, I was going to say that I still think of you as taller..even though I've seen you, stood next to you, etc.
I'm 5'11 and Andy is 6'2 - in heels, we're the same height, which is creepy. I don't wear heels anymore.

Evan is 5'9". I am easily the same height and mostly taller than him in heels. He likes me in heels though.... Too bad I hardly wear them.
Andy in heels would be creepy.
I feel like a tranny in heels. I don't like standing out in a crowd.

5'6"....N is also 5'6". We have an ongoing never to end argument as to who is taller (it's me).
Me & J are both 5'6" too! He likes to think he's taller than me (not true!).

I'm not creeped out by being the same height as Andy - just that with heels, I'm 6'2 - that's the creepy part. That's how I got the nickname erinmonster in high school. For being exceptionally tall and scary.

RE: Nicknames. There's a girl I used to see around town a lot who was 6'4". We called her bigfoot for a while, then graduated to Sasquatch. Her phone number is still in my phone as "Sasquatch". I didn't even know her real name until she added me on facebook.
If anyone ever called me Sasquatch, I'd cry. I got Titzilla once. That I didn't mind so much.

I am 6'2-6'3 depending on the shoes I wear. It is annoying when people stop and ask if you play basketball. No, I don't play and am not a big fan of playing/watching it.
My best friend was 5 foot nothing, tiny, and had green eyes and black hair.
ha, totally read that as 'black fur'....that would have been, um, interesting!
And yeah, I don't mind being the same height (actually a little bit taller) than N. I don't often wear heels, but I do tower over him then. It's funny!

Oww, how tall is your husband? DH's best friend is 6'5" and his wife is maybe 5'1". You must have a similar height difference. :)
