Somehow this reminds me of the "groom's cake" in Steel Magnolias--an armadillo made of Red Velvet Cake "covered with grey icing...I don't even want to think about how you make grey icing.And every time they cut a slice, it's like they're hacking into this poor animal!" Perhaps animal- or person-shaped Red Velvet cakes would make more people think about what they're actually used to eating...

We watched "Dead or Alive" (Takashi Miike) last night (not as good as Fudo or Audition for other Japanese horror fans) I wish I had a (vegan, of course!) leg to gnaw on during the show to complete the experience.

Well I followed a couple links off the body-eating article and found a page about nyotaimori, aka "body sushi" where people eat sushi off women, generally naked. Is that what you meant Capture?

Men can be hired too. It's just that women are more in demand. Mainly cause I think women don't get much out of eating food off of strange men. Whereas men seem to enjoy eating food off of strange, naked women. What an odd species. ;)
I always think of the germ factor ... yuck.
But, it IS fun to do at home with one's partner. :P
