The official, amazing, aimless chitchat thread.
So this is where we go to make small talk that doesn't really fit into other threads.
It's the thread with no attention span!
Frequent, arbitrary changes of topic are encouraged. In fact, they are mandatory.
So, I was just thinking, wouldn't it be awesome to have the decor in each room of your house be inspired by a food? Like, I was cutting up eggplant today, making my accidental eggplant chips, and I though, wow, this eggplant looks so pretty against this green plate! I would love to have a room inspired entirely by eggplant colors. And then I thought there could be ones inspired by mangoes and apples and sweet potatoes and pretty much any other pretty food.
Hey, a friend of mine made these really awesome mosaics of all her food pictures based on color. THIS is what I mean:

So, what was I saying?
HI EVERYONE.
I am about to go get wasted on margaritas. Then I'm going home to make drunken cupcakes. It'll be a good night
I have a bad habit of sending messages, texts, emails when I'm wasted on margaritas!
:-D This made me laugh hard. Sorry to both of you for your burnt noodles, ruined pans and smokey homes. I've just never had the urge to turn on the stove drunk, let alone boil macaroni in that condition. I seem to recall chewing on safe bread-type things (in a very unladylike manner) when I'd stumble in with the munchies in the wee hours back in my clubbing days. I'm clumsy and forgetful enough when I'm sober. I'd probably be dead if I ever tried to turn my bread into toast.
dude....late-night munchie-inspired cooking is especially bad when you go for bread-type things that you insist on baking yourself.

charcoal briquets? ....or neglected muffins?
I'm so lucky I didn't start a freakin' fire.
fauna- i was going to say... i eat a lot of chocolate!!! no problems with being anemic for me, though, i am not a heavy bleeder really, either. but chocolate has tons of iron!
... i just only want to paint if i know i will be there more then a year.
food poisoning sounds like crap! i have never had it. i think i might have had a little bit of alcohol poisoning once. ha.
i am making caramel shortbread cookies!!!
i bought stuff (bike stuff and 'running' shoes) and i am actually happy about having spent the money cause i like it so much. go me.

Holy cow chip. The vegan booze angels were watching over you that night.
i just love that CW photographed them! ;D
I have HORRIBLE cramps.
Cramps suck. Drink tea.
When I was younger and just started getting used to having periods, I had horrible cramps. I figured out the best way to deal with them: stay home and force myself to go to sleep (in the middle of the day). All that chamomile tea/ibuprofen/heating pad business had nothing on my uterus.

This does not bode well for Ronald McDonald's charity recipients.

Yeah, I'm feeling better now. This has been a weird cycle for me..but I usually only have cramps on the night before the first day (couldn't really sleep last night), and on the first (and maybe second) day. Tylenol has always worked for me, and we're using up a huge bottle I bought a long time ago. I'm wondering what I'll do after we use up the tylenol.....does anyone else have natural things that work for them? I don't really drink tea...
My diva is doing well though. I thought about you, hesp when I took it out this morning. ;)
and VC, Uhhhhhhhhhhh :wow:
I bought some rhubarb at the FM, so I have to find a recipe..
I don't like when there's nothing going on in vegweb land...I have nothing to do! It's dreary outside..Patrick's at work.. :(

You know, I've totally been out of this thread, but the only thing I can add right now is... yeah, what's that about?
I'm intrigued by this "deep cleaning." Does this involve like steaming and microbeads and sugar scrubs....how do you deep clean a house?
