Reasons to brag or congratulate each other.......

I thought we could add a topic that says -- "Way to Go!" or "Congrats" to our fellow VegWebbers! Maybe we could also use this area to toot our own horns. Say stuff like -- "I just got an A+ in my class!" It's okay to pat yourself on your back sometimes.
I'll start off by saying - it looks like Webmistress Laura got rid of spammer/dickcheese "claudiuswie". Way to go, Laura! And thank you! ;)b
I'm gonna brag cuz uhh... I'm kickin' cancer's ass.
hell yeah!!!
I presided over the meeting today. For the first time in my life.
And was told I was very natural.
Wow.
And today I cleaned the oven. I even took the rack-holders out and scrubbed them.
I rock. 8-)

I second that!

Lately I've been working out a lot more. I can easily do 10-15 miles a day on my bike now. When I first started I would get massive pain in my legs n such, and while I still have pain its not as much. I'm also able to go up hills now, and I used to have to walk up the hill. (although there are still two hills I cannot bike up, doubt I ever will they are super steep! Husband can do it though, such a show off :P ) Also, I didn't used to be able to walk as far or as fast. I also haven't rode the bus except 3 times in the last almost 3 months, thats a saving between myself and my husband of almost 200 dollars. (the equivilant of paying for one bike we bought) I use a child trailer attached to my bike to get groceries. I'm losing a little weight, my pants are falling off of me (even though I'm barely losing weight).
I've also kicked my cheese habbit, and milk products for the most part, which is good since I'm allergic to them. No fast food in ages and I've been eating really healthy.
Swimming pool just opened where I live and I've spent 4-7 hours a day there with my step son. spending atleast 30 minutes actively swimming. Thats 333.5 calories burned per 30 minutes for me at my weight. =D
I guess I'm just bragging that for the first time in a long time I'm enjoying my life, and I'm just not to damned depressed. Although my husband has been kinda, meh, lately and very grumpy, I'm not letting it get me down!
Kudos, Fay!! You deserve all the bouquets you can get...verbal if not floral.
Losing your pants even if you don't lose weight is a good sign, you're getting fit and losing flab and inches. They always say "muscle weighs more than fat but takes up less space."
I woke up at 4 this AM again and couldn't find a comfy place to put my arm so I got up at 5.30, had a shower and washed my hair, and did some ironing.
The new quilt top is taking shape.
I did 6 hours of class yesterday and 4 on the books for today, and I'm glad tomorrow is a local holiday.
Oh yeah, Josh dubbed me Laura F***ing Arnsdorf because....
2 weeks ago tomorrow I finished my radiation treatments WITHOUT a feeding tube (though I did cry for it once). Booyah.
Awesome Fufu!
Yesterday my immediate boss informed me that the Grand Poobah of the state I am currently working for sang my praises to the state department and to my bosses at a planning meeting! I can feel my head swelling!

Quality tells, every time.
Bragging because I'm so happy I got 2 lost dogs safely home last week. :)>>> dogs!
Yay for isaytomatoes! That's great, congrats!
TY Yabbit. I'm also convinced I don't understand how to measure my body. I've been measuring my body in 10 different places for like 3 years now and even though my pants are falling off my waist is the same size? :o I really don't understand. I guess all my pants got attacked by gnomes and were stretched without my knowledge? :-D
YAy for saving puppies! ;)b
:)))))
YES! :D I'm so happy this thread survived the transition.
Ladies and gents, LFA is awesome!!! Again, I'm so happy for you! :)
Yabbit - So very happy for you as well! I think you might want to be careful, though. Your head is swelling so large, I can see it here on the other side of the Atlantic. ;) I kid. I kid.
savvyidler - Hey! :) I owe you an email.
isaytomatoes - Very awesome! :)
faylinameir - Look at you, making success happen!! Well done you! If I were you, I'd do a Google search for a good (vegan) gnome deterrent. They will reek havoc on your clothes. :P
FB - Nice to see you smiling! :)
I'll try to catch up with everyone. Oh this exciting!
-Josh
And Storm!! How could I forget Storm?? You need to watch it with your head, too. I can see it here in Oregon. :P That's so awesome, though! Congrats to you!
-Josh
I would like to send a shout-out to my girl jessimaka33. She got a new job and is kicking the ass of last year's salesperson!!! Way to go, Jess. I'm happy for you! :D
