I met a friend at the beach today (along with Vincent and my friend's daughter, who's the same age).  I was thinking it would be a fun outing for Vincent, especially since we haven't gotten out much lately, but it was a total disaster.  I finally got him to bed after an hour straight of screaming (but he wouldn't eat lunch, so I don't know how well he'll sleep).  I need a shower.

Another 90-min "night" of sleep.
I knew melatonin would turn out to be a cad.

And all because of a person I really don't want to teach, calling to ask for a class for today--he called at 10 PM. Jose says if it happens again he'll tell the guy I'm asleep. I almost was.
Guy's a newbie, and an idiot...I hope after today he changes his mind. Jose says he'll make his presence felt in the apartment, see if that helps him change it.

Awh, VH. They're missing out. My boyfriend is out of contact right now for some reason. So I'm working on a research paper. But I define introvert, and I like these kinds of things.

I honestly don't know why you don't have people breaking down your door to hang out with you. You're cool, funny, super kind, and you're a hottie. What is not to like?

i'm lonely.

i'm not anyone's number one. i'm not anyone's number one best friend, or girlfriend, or sister, or daughter. and no one sees that and no one cares.

I feel you. Yeah, I have the husband, but no bestie. I need a girl to hang with and do silly things like act the fool in the Lush store.
We both project an image of completeness and competence, that's our problem.

@ VH... big hugs to you! You are definitely important, Sweetie! I think we've all felt that kind of loneliness at some point in our lives. I know I have. I also know it sucks and it hurts. Just know that you matter to a lot of people, including me.  (((hugs)))

I know that your's is the only dance team around, so changing isn't an option, but what about a new interest?  Like, new friends, and then the dance people are who are there to dance with.  You're too amazing to be lonely.

And yes, my friend is upset with me. He prides himself on his close relationship to Truth, but apparently that doesn't include hearing it from others. But then I knew that. Most people who pride themselves on being "blunt" and "honest" and "upfront" really, really don't want that from you.
