Reasons to frown

Ok, so we have a smiling thread. This thread is for all of the little dumb things that make you frown, or angry, or sad, etc., etc.
I'll start. I had chili for lunch today. I brought some crackers for the chili and a banana for breakfast. THE CRACKERS ABSORBED THE BANANA FLAVOR THROUGH THE BAG, SO I HAD BANANA FLAVORED CHILI FOR LUNCH! >:(
That's what's supposed to happen. It's just the first time I've ever done one (intentional niacin detox flush) and I knew it would be uncomfortable, I just didn't know how uncomfortable.
Niacin can do this--like the world's worst hot flash.
No freakin' lie! You'd think, at my age (48), I wouldn't want extra hot flashes, but alas, I'm juice fasting and trying to push all the toxins out.

I know its uncomfortable to do a niacin flush but I also know something could go wrong and I wouldn't want anything to happen to you Storm just be safe and watch out for weird side effects or smptoms k <3 :)>>>
Awwww, thanks Fay. It lasted about an hour and began to subside and now....back to my normal annoying self!
RTF: Twice in the past 3 days Avast has warned me of Trojan Horses on VW and blocked it.
Got my first C :(
Got my first C :(
*hugs*
true story: when I was in 4th grade, I got a B one time and my mom kicked my ass, and I mean that literally. I was straight A's (except that one) until high school LOL.
I have a mean old cold! It's killing my sleep at night and making me miserable all day. No fun. :(

Miso soup.
My Kitchen Aid food processor died last night, of course in the middle of a food project. My daughter asked what i was doing as i was frustrated with the damn thing, and i told her "thinking about the letter i am going to write Santa asking him to bring me a Vita-mix." At which point my husband chuckled from the laundry room.
My sewing machine is acting like it wants to die. This is no pity since it came from Goodwill several years ago when I was looking for a new (to me) cabinate and I found the perfect one for $30. It just happened to have a machine in it and when I unjammed the needle, it worked great. Since it had a knee control, I decided to use it and my old Brother has been in the closet since. The Brother is from the early 80's, the other, a New Home, is estimated at being from the 70's. I am not sure either is worth taking to the shop but I only started saving a bit of money for a new machine about 2 months ago.
I have a 1970s New Home too and my buttonhole function is "off", overlapping the stitches. All it needs is an adjustment and the shop wanted a ridiculous amount to work on it so you are probably right about it not being worth repair. Mine definitely isn't. Fortunately I can use my daughter's machine for buttonholes until I save enough for a surger.
Wow, almost 2 whole hours of sleep. I feel great......oh wait, no I don't. I feel like shit!
Storm, mine does not have a botton hole function, the feed dogs don't drop, I think I have a total of 8 stitches. . . You get the point. But it was great for basic baby quilts :) DH sent me sewing maching shopping to the dealers. Now I am drooling at $2,000 machines. I hate when this happens. Now it will be "do you want a new window to replace the drafty one or a new sewing machine. (where is the cryingin icon. I want to be a baby and have it all)
My new RTF, tried to log on last night after shopping and Mcgaffy blocked the site with a virus warning.
Sleep.....I need some.
Afternoon conference call.....BLECH!
I have terrible gas. Not stinky, just lots and lots of it. I'm glad I'm alone right now!
Sick :(
Still sick
