i need some help figuring out what is vegan and what is not
I know to look for stuff like: eggs, whey, meat, shortening, butter, milk etc. but what about ....ummmm.... hidden ingredients??
I would be truly grateful for the ipod link, as the list is three pages long and I'll have to carry it around with me until I memorize it all...
But I'll carry it around, I'm not too proud to look a little geeky :) especially for health/animals.
Question: are mono/di/tri glycerides considered vegan as long as they're labeled "plant" (such as on my jar of soy nut butter)? I'm also new to all of this, and this site and everyone's help is outstanding and wonderful, thank you.
yes, if they are labeled as plant based they are vegan. if they are not labeled as anything, they are probably not veg.
Thank you so much, secondbase, for the information. Much appreciated.
;D Thanks, baypuppy!! I am excited to figure it out! Now if I could just remember where I put that ipod down...
I thought that Ipods were overrated until mine got stolen at the airport on my way back from Florida. I was forlorn for two months...
I just found my "stolen" pod in a backpack I had on the trip...
I'm psyched to have it back, it makes working out more fun. Er, more bearable. :D
darn i wish i had an ipod i wouldnt even mind being weird in the store >:(
