Vegan restaurants serving non-vegan soy cheese!!

Living in NYC I'm fortunate enough to have a bunch of vegan restaurants in my neighborhood. However, I recently began researching and realize that all of them serve soy cheese with caisen in it!! I am so disapponted that restarants that bill themselves as vegan would commit this kind of oversight.
In other news,I am going to have to come to terms with the fact that casein free cheese products really make me ill. I keep buying and trying new ones and keep spending half the day feeling really nauseous!
I went to a vegetarian/vegan restaurant in Pawtucket, Rhode Island and ordered nachos with soy cheese and they asked "do you want vegan cheese or soy cheese?" At least they had the option!

Garden Grille Cafe - right?!?! I love that place!! ;)
I tried Curly's Lunch recently. I'm pretty sure they have vegan cheese with no casein but ask to be sure.
Where is Curly's?

Oh I know that place! I have been meaning to try it! (I used to work at Beth Israel ). Maybe I'll check it out this week....thanks!
Yea, you really have to be careful with cheese. Plus, some restaurants don't even understand that soy cheese doesn't necessarily mean vegan. That or they just don't care.
