Age and Dating

Ok, sooo how does everyone feel about age and dating? Are you ok with dating someone younger than you? If so how much younger? Are you ok with dating someone older than you? If so, how much older?
I ask because I started dating someone younger than me, and I use to say "I will never date a guy younger than me!" But I did and I am, and I think its working out great.
What do you guys say?
I think about it though and wonder that if i were a guy and he was the girl would people still react that way...hmmm.

^^ He definitely would.. just like my ex's friends did. All their girlfriends or wives or ex's or whatever weren't exactly in their 20's, so they were jealous.. although sometimes it was disgusting, like hearing about how my ex's roommate would just zone off staring at my tits. Why thanks.
I have a date with a 24 year old, I'm 31. She seems more mature an put together that other females my age. Also it seems that we have a lot in common, partially raw, tattoos, animals. Im excited.

I honestly don't care about age. As long as the person acts in accordance with a desired maturity level I'm OK with him. This has normally equated to dated older, but DH is a couple of months younger than I am.
I think at my age dating younger than say a few months to a year would be weird. Like I don't think I could be down dating someone two or three years younger who's still in HS but I think that later, when 2-3 years doesn't mean high school I would be okay with it.
Also, I think the biggest factor in terms of age is experience in relationships and having the same attitude about the relationship. If I were to date a younger guy who hadn't been in much of a relationship I would be nervous about it. Actually, there's a guy my age I won't date because he's never had a serious relationship and never had a sexual relationship which would scare me.
My current boyfriend is just a few months older and its really nice to be at the same point like someone said. We're also at the same point relationship/booty call wise and we're looking for the same things out of this which is ideal. Yay :)>>> ;)b

yeah, I've never been concerned about age but it's worked out pretty much 50/50 older/younger.
My first long term bf was a year older, then I had a thing with a guy who was 17/18 , and a thing with a guy who was 25/26 .
And my husband is two years younger than me , he was only 22 when we got married, but I don't really find I notice it. We fit, and we're happy, so age becomes irrelevant.
Yea it's about maturity really, rather than age. I've almost always been with someone 3-5 years older. My current boyfriend is 5 years older and we just match each other perfectly.
My partner is nine years older than I. When we first met, we hit it off right away. We chatted for hours before we even asked each other about our ages. We were both surprised at the age gap, but it didn't change the fact that we got along great and were interested in each other. Four years later, age still hasn't affected our relationship...
When i was in my teen up to 35 i dated older.Enjoyed the maturity and knowledge.Know i do not know.Been out of the dating arena for a long time.I would like to date a person younger but not under 35.

When I was 22 I dated a woman 9 years older. She was a dentist, owned a nice house, had money to spend, I was bum, going to school with not much income other than my job throwing pizzas. We had fun but it ultimately did not work out. . . she had a drinking and drug problem.
I my wife of 20 years 2 years older but we are very different. She is very old fashion compared to me, omni, doesn't cook, doesn't wear cool clothes, doesn't exercise. I'm young at heart, fit and active. I cook, play rock and roll, ride a Harley, like to hang out out C/O hot springs. I often make good friends with other women. She's cool with it. Never any infidelity on my part. Still together for 20 years. If I were single again age would not matter as long as compatibility were there. I've get along well with younger women but their are women my age who are equally cool.
My first, brief, boyfriend was eight years older than me. Alas, despite his general serious nature, he seemed so much less experienced and mature than my new boyfriend (manfriend?), who is fourteen years older than me. But my man also retains a wonderful sense of youth and fun. Go figure. ;)b

I don't mind dating whether he is young or older than me.If we love age is not a problem its just a number for me.
Husband is 7 years older than me. I just turned 29 which is how old he was when we got married - now he's closer to 40 than 30 - which at first makes me think "yuk!" Ha, but we've been married nearly 7 years and we are perfect together.
Before my husband I was never really in a serious relationship, but the guys I did date were all of the same age as me. I never thought of it as an age problem, but they were all kinda immature.

My boyfriend is just over 4 years older than me, which isn't a big deal at all, now that we're 23 and 27. However, when we first started dating I was 15 and he had just turned 20, and this was bad news bears. I lied about his age to everyone (except my parents). I was so embarrassed that he was so much older--but he was quite immature! :) I think the older you get, the less age seems to matter.
I'm currently talking to someone who is 10 years my junior, and everyone says he's too young. I haven't met anyone worth my time in 5 years, so fuck what they think.
