Age and Dating

Ok, sooo how does everyone feel about age and dating? Are you ok with dating someone younger than you? If so how much younger? Are you ok with dating someone older than you? If so, how much older?
I ask because I started dating someone younger than me, and I use to say "I will never date a guy younger than me!" But I did and I am, and I think its working out great.
What do you guys say?
Eh, I don't care as long as we're compatible. The oldest I've dated was 5 years older, the current boy is 11 months older..and I've never dated younger, but definitely not against it.

I think that age and dating not problem.You can date with everyone you like,it's alright!
I am 17, my fiance is 22, I believe that age doesn't matter. WHat matters is the maturity and past experience on both sides
Oh man, I'm crazy about younger guys. If I was a lot older, I'd be pretty much a cougar.
Current boyfriend is my age, for a change. Ex was four years younger. I wouldn't date someone TOO young, though. I think people would look at me funny if I dated someone who's not old enough to drink, for example.
Well, for me, age is not the question, "is there compatible chemistry" is.
When I was 16 I dated a woman who was 43. We were in love. Since then, I have been with a variety of lovely ladies ranging from 59 down to 20 (when I was 55). Like all relationships between people, they all had their up and down moments. I believe it really depends on one's ability to be open to spontaneity, awareness and the ability to go with the flow with the heart in control, not the mind.
Age is only as relative as you make it. Many of us (especially the younger ones nowadays) come into this life with amazing wisdom and past life experiences that make us ageless. I say, bust out of ALL the boxes and live life fully NOW from the heart!
I used to get hung up on age, but now that I am older and single again I am willing to date someone younger

Had another date with a twenty four year old, she got hung up on my age and that I own a home, among other things in her life currently. It must be simply an experience and maturity issue. I am not bothered as long a we have fun and it all works out, like goals, interests and equal kindness.
It doesn't matter to me. I tend to be more attracted to older men, and have since I was really young. My husband is 31 and I'm 24. We've been married over 7 years and our age difference has NEVER posed a problem for us.
I don't think age make any difference as long as couple behave maturely.I have seen many cases in which younger one has behaved more responsibly and maturely than elder one.

I think that is awesome that you bought a house at that age. I think that girl is weird for having issues you you owning a home Eric. I would love to own a home!

yup, my husband was 24 when we bought our place, while most of our mates are at least a good few years behind, I still don't think it's note-worthily uncommon.

Maybe... I think life experiences dictate a lot about who (and how) a person is. I've been supporting myself for so long that I still think it is weird to see college age kids living at home (even though I know it is totally normal). Since that wasn't my life, I can't relate.
Next time; distract them with juice baths! ;)
