single for life yo it seems... done with guys!

Stay single and just be social. I wasted  my whole 4 years of college chasing around the wrong guy. I knew he wasn't right, but I was so afraid of being alone that I just let it drag on and on. I wish that I had just been more independent and fucked a lot more people. I wasn't totally faithful by any means, but I should have been whooping it up a lot more!!!

Single and have been for, 6 years? I've had friends with benefits and now I'm in love with my best friend but since he's in Belgium right now he refuses to date me. Go figure. Though he has said he feels the same way. I mean, he's vegetarian (can't be vegan b/c of health problems), has the same beliefs as me when it comes to women/feminism, and we just get along perfectly although we're pretty much total opposites about everything else. 2 more years and he'll be back in the states for good. But until then, I might as well have some fun.

And I've never been on a date. Kind of saddening.

I get asked out a couple times a year, and I've humored them and gone out a few times, but I think I'm just extremely picky. It seems like only the guys who are completely wrong for me are attracted to me. What's up with that? I want a guy who understands me. But it seems like they're all carnivores who just like to tease me endlessly about my veganism. I laugh and take it, but deep down it hurts that they don't really understand or support my decision. They're all too closed minded to actually care about my opinion. They're okay to be friends with, but I really don't want to sit across from them on a date while they're chewing on the charred body of a dead, abused animal. Not cool. Not okay. So I just don't want to date anyone until I find a guy who actually supports me and is open minded at least to the possibility of vegetarianism, at least most of the time.
I just don't understand why so many think that it's manly to eat mutilated, abused animal carcasses all the time... It isn't. It's cruel. Men aren't cruel. Cruelness is not manly.

I've had 3 boyfriends from the age of 12 until now and 2 girlfriends. But, hm, I guess I like to be swooned and apparently there's no men willing to do that now-a-days. How come you haven't been on a date?! You're hot! See, men are idiots.

I've had offers but then when they ask where I want to go and I tell them I'm vegan they kind of just go "Okkkaaayyy, well nevermind" and that's the end of that offer. It's not that hard to take me out. Movie and a huge icee will do.

i feel like once i tell any guy this they will not stfu about it!!! i honestly don't care if they want to chew on a rotting carcass or eat animal secretions... whatever... i just hate how they cannot get past the fact i eat the way that makes ME HAPPY like i allow them to eat whatever the hell they want... i dunno i don't think i am even going to mention it going forward because i feel like they judge me and can't get past my food choices... why are people so hung up on people being a little different? my friend said i should just say i like to eat healthy or something at first if they bring it up

I feel like this happens with women friends too. I feel like people can be stand offish with me and I am assuming it is because of being vegan. I can't think why else they would be that way.
