how long from when you join vegweb does it take till you can use the features?

I joined and I still can't use the members only features.  Just asking.

Until I read the thread today about waves hello I didn't even know you could join anything.  What are the features?

I think you pay for the features. I've been a member since 2003 according to my profile (I can't even remember it's been so long), and I still can't message as far as I know.

I was able to message by the next day.
I believe all you "get" by paying is the ability to initiate messaging to others.
But as a few other people had mentioned... I wanted to pay to support the service, since I am a heavy user! ;)
