5 medium size potatos
1/4 cup bacon bits
1/4 butter
1 cup cheese (I use Daiya Cheddar Shreds)
3 cups water
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 cup green onions chopped
1) Clean potatos then rub with oil til coated
2) Set the oven at 375 degrees and bake for 1 hour
3) Allow potatoes to cool
In a large pot place:
1) heat water and bacon bits to a boil
2) when bacon bits are soft lower heat to medium or to keep simmering
3) add the soft innards of the baked potatoes
4) add cheese and green onions
5) mash the mixture to break up potato and mix together the ingredients
6) mix in salt and pepper
7) continue zimmering until the green onions are tender
