Slightly Spicy Black Bean Soup
Olive Oil
1 Brown Or Yellow Onion
1/2 Tsp Ground Cumin
1/4 Tsp Oregano
1/8 Tsp Chili Flakes
2 Carrots
1 Can Black Beans (Rinse & Drained)
¼ Cup Cilantro
2 Cups Vegan “Chicken” Broth/Bullion
1 Large Bay Leaf

Dice and Sauté Onion, Cumin, Oregano, and Chili Flakes.

Chop and Steam Carrots till soft.
3.
Add Onion Mix, Carrots, Black Beans, Cilantro, and Broth to food processor or blender.
4.
Blend till smooth, add Bay Leaf, pour into pot and simmer for 20 minutes then serve.
*For a thicker soup add 1/2 Cup Pumpkin or Squash Puree.
