4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon -sugar
1 1/2 cups of vegan-buttermilk (mix 1 1/2 cups of soy milk with 1 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice)
1/2 cup raisins
Mix flour, baking soda, salt and sugar in a rge bowl. Pour in vegan-buttermilk and raisins and stir it really fast. Knead it on a floured board for a few seconds, and then put it on a lightly floured baking sheet. Cut a deep cross on top, all the way down the sides so te vegan bread will rie evenly. Bake at 425 F for about 45 minutes until it is nicely browned and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom. You can let the vegan bread cool or eat it fresh from the oven! It is up to you.
