2 cups self-rising flour
pinch of salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon vegan margarine
3/4 cup nondairy milk
raisins, to taste (optional)
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Into a bowl, sift flour and salt bowl. Stir in sugar, then lightly rub in margarine. Make a well in the center and pour in milk. Work lightly into dough. Fold in raisins. Knead very lightly on floured board.
3. Roll out and cut into shapes. Glaze tops with milk or water.
4. Bake in oven for 7 to 10 minutes.
