2 cups vegan chocolate chips
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup chopped slivered almonds
1 tablespoon shortening
In a double boiler, over simmering water, melt vegan chocolate chips and vegetable shortening together. Once melted, remove from heat (and turn off burner for those of you who don't cook very often)!
In a large bowl, stir in raisins and nuts. Drop by the tablespoon onto a baking sheet (aka a cookie pan) covered with wax paper. Chill until chocolate coating has hardened.
Serve cold, if you want them hard or let sit out at room temperature before serving. Enjoy!
