1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup sugar
3 1/2 cups oatmeal
1 1/2 cup peanut butter (crunchy or smooth)
1 bag vegan chocolate or carob chips
13x9 in. pan, greased
This recipe is from my grandma pat.
Mix oatmeal and peanut butter in a medium bowl with hands. Boil corn syrup and sugar in a medium sauce pan. Pour over oatmeal mixture and mix quickly. Press into a greased 13x9 in. pan. Pour chocolate over and cover. If the chocolate doesn't melt then put it under broil for a minute in the oven. Cut into finger shaped bars.
