20 oz can undrained crushed pineapple
1 can cherry, apple, or peach pie filling
1 box vegan yellow cake mix
2 sticks vegan margarine
I cup chopped pecans (optional)
I love this recipe because you don't have to mix anything! My mom gave me this when I was a very busy (lazy) cook. My friends and family love it!
Spray a pan with cooking spray. Pour pineapple (undrained) into the pan.
Pour pie filling over pineapple.
Spread the vegan cake mix (unprepared) over the pie filling.
Spread the pecans over the cake mix if you're using them.
Cut margarine into pieces and place evenly spaced on the top, do not mix anything!
Bake at 325 degrees for one hour or until golden brown on top.
If using apple pie filling, cinnamon and sugar sprinkled on the top right before it goes into the oven makes it even better!
