1/2 - 1 red pepper (depends on size, 1 small is good)
1 tablespoon wheat-free tamari
juice of 1/2 a lemon or lime
1 tablespoon of olive oil (or hemp or flax oil)
fresh herbs (You may want to use just one, or more - basil/oregano is my fav)
fresh ground pepper (to taste)
1 small clove raw garlic (optional)
a little bit of onion (optional)
1/2 jalapeno or pinch cayenne pepper (optional)
a few poppy seeds (optional)
Throw everything into a blender and blend until combined and smooth.
I find red pepper dressing really good for variation. You never need to add the same things twice. You can play with the amounts and try adding avocado to make it creamier.
