6 quarts water
3 russet potatoes, peeled and chopped
2 carrots, peeled and chopped
1 bag dry lentils
1/4 cup vegan bacon bits
1 teaspoon hickory smoke flavoring
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
Put everything into a large pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until veggies and lentils are cooked through. Serve with warm whole wheat bread! YUMMY!
