6 or 7 russet or other large, hearty potatoes (I use organic)
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup nutritional yeast
1/4 cup garlic powder (this much gives them some kick!)
sea salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
1/8 cup paprika, to taste
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Slice potatoes into large slices. (Like "steak" fries)
2. Toss in large bowl with olive oil to coat. Add other ingredients in a pile over the fries and stir until all fries are coated. They won't coat evenly, but will crisp nicely this way.
3. Arrange on a baking sheet in one layer. You may need two sheets. Bake for 45 minutes or more, turning occasionally to brown all sides.Enjoy!
