One Jicama, peeled
1 Tb nutritional yeast (optional, not a raw ingredient)
1/2 tsp curry or turmeric
1/4 tsp good quality salt
Ingredients For Chili Walnut Meat
1 cup walnuts
1/4 cup raisins, soaked in water for 10 minutes
1/4 cup sun dried tomatoes
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp paprika
Ingredients Bell Pepper Cashew Cheese
1 bell pepper, seeded and chopped
1 cup cashews, soaked for easy blending
½ to 1 tsp good quality salt (depending on personal)
¼ tsp chili powder
½ tsp cumin powder
Juice of 1 lemon
Instructions For Jicama Fries
Cut peeled jicama in french fry shape and transfer to mixing bowl.
Add spices and salt to jicama fries and toss well.
Instructions For Chili Taco Meat
In a food processor, process the walnuts, spices and salt into a coarse flour.
Add raisins and sun dried tomatoes and continue processing into a chunky texture.
Add soak water from fruit if mixture is not mixing.
Instructions For Bell Pepper Cashew Cheese
Place all ingredients in a high speed blender and blend still completely smooth.
These raw vegan chili cheese fries will store in fridge for 3 to 5 days and hold best if components are stored in separate containers.
