Well, my bad evening must have followed me into the kitchen, because I completely messed this up. There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the recipe itself though.
So, I had an epic memory fail while making the caramely delicious sauce: I forgot to turn the heat down. Now, let me tell you, it turned out so much more thick and so much less grainy than last time.
I LOVE THIS RECIPE! I used frozen spinach, a small onion, a green pepper, and some pico de gallo. Omitted the meatless crumbles. Deeeeelish! I'll be making this again! :D
I made these with oat flour, 3/4 cup of sugar, vanilla coconut milk instead of water, and applesauce instead of oil. i also added some ground almonds and chocolate chips.
Okay, so I've eaten these three times in the past three days, and I am in LOVE with them (with the addition of cabbage, vegan jack cheese and tomatillo salsa for dipping,)
Fantastic! I used brown sugar, whole wheat flour, and chocolate almond milk for my liquid. I also added cashew pieces. Mine was done just under 2 minutes at full power. Thanks for this!
