I just got this today. I had to stop looking through it to go make a snack because it was making me so hungry. Does anyone have this and what do they like from it?

Yep, a new cookbook that came out sometime this year or late last year I think.

I made the chili with chipotles in adobo (can't remember the name) and it was AWESOME! Loved it!

I made the Sloppy Joanna's last night. So much better than Snobby Joes from Vcon in my opinion. I'm not a huge fan of TVP but I liked this enough to have two sandwiches last night for dinner and bring the rest in for lunch today!

I made a batch of Vegan Parmesan last night (I finally found brown rice flour). Not bad. I used a little on Vcon's Penne Vodka. I like it just by itself :)

There are some similar things but new ones too and since I'm newish to vegan cooking they may be more new to me that to you (that was a weird sentence). On a similar note there is one tofu recipe in YRR that is almost exactly the same as the chili crusted tofu from Vcon.

I made the Goddess Pasta Salad for a bbq this weekend and it was a big hit. I didn't add the cucumbers because my mom doesn't like them. I thought it was great and it makes a ton to feed a lot of people. The only problem was that it dried up a bit too quickly. I made it in the morning and served it in the afternoon and by that time the pasta had soaked up a lot of the dressing. It still tasted great and got good reviews from everyone. Next time I may double the dressing or serve it right away.

i got this book this weekend and it seems pretty good. i finally tried it out last night with the white beans and kale although i made a couple changes. i didn't have white beans so i used canned kidney beans, which seemed just fine. then at the end i added a handful of cherry tomatoes. i thought it was really good.. at first i was put off by the lack of flavors she added, but since i managed not to burn the shallots/garlic for once, it turned out just perfect. the idea of rubbing the lemon juice into the kale before you put it into the pan (i usually add my lemon juice later) was genius. it didn't make it too lemony, but there was a nice hint. so far, so good. most of the food seems like comfort food though... but i'm ok with that since fall's here and that's my comfort food season.

I made the taco salad for a potluck lunch and it was really good. I used black beans instead of kidney beans and canned diced tomatoes instead of fresh because that is what I had at home. I really enjoyed it and could eat it for lunch by myself.
