Let's talk about how everyone grooms their pubes.
I really can't stand having any pubic hair. I shave mine, but I do love a good wax. I would get waxed all the time if I didn't have to pay for it and didn't have to wait for the regrowth. The woman I go to uses some awesome kind of wax for sensitive skin and it barely hurts. She's awesome. I always go for the full brazilian. In the mean time I just shave.
Regarding partners, my current partner shaves as well (just by coincidence) and I don't think I could go back from this. Makes things so much more pleasant.
Speak on it!
yeah, i think it's for the hair.
Now I'm sad that I'll never be minty-fresh "down there".
Okay, so, yesterday I was chatting with a couple of friends, and the subject of shaving pubes came up... ::) more specifically, the subject of rash and/or ingrown hairs. I was advised to try rubbing methylated spirits on the area after shaving. Evidently the first application or two may hurt like buggery, but once your skin gets used to it, it prevents any and all rash/ingrowns. Sounds weird, but I might try it. They swore by it.
Um, I'll let you know how it goes if I'm brave enough. :pirate:
The electric razor makes all the difference. The Seiko CleanCut will not leave a rash or ingrown hairs. Reaaly!
I tried an electric last year. Honestly, it was the second dumbest thing I have ever done to myself in the name of grooming. It was a very bloody experience. I for one would like to know how in the world you do that without serious cuts and rashes.
I have had a similar experience, Evergreen. I won't make taht mistake again. :o
rs, I would probably follow your advice and buy one of those, if I could afford it, but. ;)
evergreen, that sounds awful! :/
i finally shaved err'thing. it itches growing back now. lol

Yeah, they are not cheap.
Oh, by the way, I recommend against ever trying to use an epilator on one's underarms. :ohno: The pain! the blood!
heli - check amazon - sometimes they have stuff for cheaper.

I Googled what an epilator is as I have never heard of one before.
Quite alarmed now, thank you.

now im curious - if that was the second dumbest thing.. what was the first dumbest thing?
Shaved my torso thinking it would be sexy when I was 14.
Honestly, it wasn't so hot.
Chest was raw for a month.
3'rd was letting someone put a reverse mohawk in my curls.
haha - i cant imagine many 14 yr olds that even have enough to be worth shaving.
the science teacher i work with got this as one of the questions this week: (8th grade science class - sex education unit)
if pubic hair is so short/curly and it falls out... shouldn't it be called pubic fur?
I used to think it was public hair
all the kids get to write down any question they have about sex, fold it up, and submit it for him to answer (anonymous of course)...
last year we got the question (from a girl)... "can boys wag their penis like a dog wags his tail?"
^ Priceless.
And yes*.

Bald. Shaving is the way to go. ;)b
get em trimmed and bald. sac bald, everything else trimmed. I like it when my wife shaves everything off. And before anyone says anything, if my wife asked me to, I would shave everything and keep it that way.
