Hi everyone, I know there's already a thread on here about Morocco but was wondering if anyone has new tips ?
I'm going in April. I'm going to bring some back up foods in case, peanutbutter and I might bake some granola bars. My husband is a native french speaker so hopefully that will get us by in Morocco when ordering things. Any suggestions on foods? Are there lots of delicious dried fruits and fruit at the markets?
Thanks!
Appearently, I can't spell MOROCCO
Hi! I have nothing to add since I've never been...I just wanted to say, I'm hoping to go to Morocco NEXT April for my 10th wedding anniversary! You'll have to tell me all about your trip after you get back! Have a great time!!
I also have nothing to add except that my best friend is taking a trip to Morocco this April too - must be the time to go!
I would think fruits would be pretty plentiful, esp. at markets...
Hope you have an amazing holiday!
Ditto ... nothing to add really save to say have a great time. Am hoping to get a weekend there myself in the (near) future. Look forward to hearing all about it!
Thanks everyone!
I've done some researching and have found a vegan/vegetarian restaurant in Marrakesh called Good Earth, so I'll have to try it and report back!
alot of beans are used in cooking so maybe you will find some things. My friend here in denmar is from morocco but he hasnt lived there for years and said you can probably find a good amount of filling salads
Sadly, last week the airline I was taking cancelled our outbound flight and now we're not going. i'm so upset!
ah man, that sucks ... couldn't you try and change the flights? I've just checked and Easyjet flies to/from Geneva and to/from Morocco (Agadir) via London Gatwick. A bit of an effort I agree and extra cost.
its a low cost airline and doesn't have many options. they gave us another option. where we had 30 min in morocco before the return. :P
what a shame ... I'm due to go Verona in May with BA who may or may not have settled their strike action by then so I may be in a similar situation by then who knows?
