Vegan Restaurants in DC?

hey guys!
I'll be going to DC next week for the first time and I'm afraid there will be nowhere for me to eat! Any suggestions for good vegan places? :) I am also allergic to soy and wheat
Yes. I moved here a few months ago from Alabama, and it's awesome. It might be harder with the soy and wheat allergies, but...
first site to check:
vegdc.com
Restaurants high on my list:
Nirvana - amazing all vegetarian, very vegan friendly restaurant at 18th and K
Java Green - right around the corner from Nirvana, almost all vegan and has some raw stuff and a bunch of desserts (many of which you might not be able to partake in due to allergies - sorry)
Sunflower in Falls Church, VA (or Vienna, VA); once again awesome, but probably use a bunch of soy/wheat.
Great Sage in Clarksville, MD is also good (but a little pricey, and probably farther out than you wanna go if you're gonna be in the district the whole time)
They all have websites you can check out. I recommend just eating at Nirvana every meal, 'cause it's awesome. They have a buffet from a different region of India every weekday. They also have a little spot in the Old Post Office Mall called Indian Delight.
There are actually a whole lot of veg-friendly restaurants up here. Check out vegdc for sure.
I have nothing to add. I just popped in to wave at Flik! :waves:
oh, hai! :waves:
