I didn't realise you quilted, Baypuppy!! Me too--badly but I enjoy it. I'm totally self-taught, and acan't draw a straight line with a ruler, but I manage even though most of my quilts have slightly different measurements for all 4 sides. None of my friends sew, so they don't notice the difference!! I used to be a human knitting machine but had to put it up due to repetitive motion stress. In the end I flat-out gave all my needles, books and yarn stash to a friend in need, to remove the temptation from the house!
