Advice on a vegan video please??

Hey lovely VWers!!

I've been doing a lot of wellness/weight loss coaching lately, which means I've been working with people to get them switched over to a healthy vegan diet. It's SOOO exciting!  :D

When I switched over to a vegan diet in 1991, it was for animal rights reasons. However, since then, I've focused mainly on the health benefits as part of my career. SO, my point is: I've gotten very out of touch w/ videos on why it's good to go vegan for animal rights reasons. For my clients who want added motivation to stick w/ their healthy new vegan diets, I thought it would be great to have a vegan video I could recommend. Nothing TOO graphic, but still gets the point across loud and clear is what I'm looking for. I did see Food Inc., but thought they idealized the family farmer (who raised animals for meat) a bit too much...

So is there anything you'd recommend??? Thanks so much in advance for your time & suggestions!! :)>>>

hmm well the eating documentary focuses on health and then talks about AR at the end.

is meat your meat too graphic?

I haven't seen Meet your Meat. Is it too graphic do you think? That name did pop in my head though...and it's fine if it shows other benefits too, I just thought it would be nice to give my clients another motivation to "seal the deal!!" So anything that shows what the food industry is like for animals would help do that, is my thought...

Meet Your Meat is pretty graphic, but I think it's very effective.

There's also Peaceable Kingdom, which is focused on the cruelty & farmed animal sanctuaries. What's weird is there are two versions out there for... complicated reasons.

Tissues are fine! :)
I just know that when I went vegan, it really helped to know that stuff. It kept me motivated, beyond just the health benefits. When I think meat I think "Suffering" and who wants that?

Ya I think the animals rights issues is what will make me never go back because I don't want to eat animals or their products... If it were all for health reasons I could see "slipping up" or "cheating" on my "diet"
