Earth Day Plans?

It's coming up on April 22nd! The gift exchange looks like a blast, wish I had signed up on time!!
Anyone else have any plans? Cooking healthy, earth-friendly meals? Picnics or potlucks?
Let me know! I need inspiration!
Take the day off of work and spend it drinking only local booze. (Says the person who will be at work, sober - you should do it for me.)
My school is having this big Earth Day thing. I guess it's bigger than thought since I heard it on a major radio station. They're trying to set the record for most plastic bottles recycled in a day.
I might go to that.
[even though I think it's stupid that they're only taking plastic bottles, and I think just water bottles (or that size) and nothing else.)
Idk. I think there will be bands and food and things like that.
Giving vegan chocolate chip cookies to my fellow band students who have been asking me all semester for some. :)
Good idea! Being vegan is environmentally friendly. Sharing vegan treats would be a totally great Earth Day thing.
I don't have any plans on the 22nd - other than working, but we are going to the Indy Earth Day Celebration on the 24th at White River State Park - VR, you should come down!
I just planned out my entire menu for earth week. Haven't made any plans, but am thinking of doing a gift exchange with my family. Or rather, making them each something special in celebration.
I don't have any plans, but I'm turning 30 the day before and it would be awesome if I could just take the day off and celebrate an earth day-birthday. hehe
Plans? Uhh, I'm going to do everything the same way I would any day. Earth Day is a fucking joke. Great concept, but laughable in practice. I already do my part to "save" the earth, I'm not going to turn my lights out or plant a tree or some other ridiculous hippie shit.
I'll be doing the same thing I do everyday...work and school.
We're having some of my daughter's friends over after school and we'll be cooking together with things from our garden, planting some wild flower seeds and doing a craft out of recyclables (I think we're making spaceships!). I'm excited for super fun.
Studying. I have an exam on Saturday (it's my last one though!)
I might be buying a bicycle that afternoon - that's pretty earth friendly.
