Since we had so much fun with the avatar thread, thought we could talk about names!
I am constantly walking and saying Owalkerjillo in my head. I can't help myself, I love that name!
I also liked wowdidyouseethatbird because of the story he told about it. ;)
Will probably think of more once we get started!

The ones that immediately came to mind for me were wowdidyouseethatbird , and_it_spoke, and hopfrog.

While some are lazy spellers, I am a lazy reader and I have a tendency to misread some of the more complicated names. In my head, Owalkerjillo is pronounced "Oh Walker kill Joe." ::)

and i must admit, i've gotten star wars references my ENTIRE life. that and walker texas ranger. I also get a lot of "what is your first name?" "walker" "no, no miss I asked for your first name" ... i gave you my first name dang it.

I have a friend named Reilly...Reilly James, in fact. She has a lot of trouble getting things directed to James Reilly. One really does know one's own name, thank you! as she says.
Who decided that Campbell and Mackenzie are acceptable as first names and Reilly can't possibly be one?
I should totally change my screen name. Everyone has cute names. Mine is not very original :( I should use my nick name at work ... Komatsu Queen (the brand name of the machines I run/learning to set up .... finally!).

But Riley is such a popular name these days for girls! I teach wee ones, and I've know no less than 5 Rileys in the last three years.
