You are here

Have you ever seen something you really want,

even though you know you would hardly ever use it?

I love this cupcake tree

Have you ever seen a more inviting treat? I never make cupcakes, but my mother did when I was a kid. It would have been so cool to have had this!

Just trying to tempt all the people who have this:

My grandmother has something similar! At Christmas time, we put those metal ball ornaments on it, instead of cupcakes. :D

You could use it to present muffins for breakfast too  :)
How fun!

my zucchini muffins would really ruin that presentation...perhaps I should consider frosting them?

Hee hee hee!  I have never made a cupcake so a cupcake tree would never come in to my place.  Although what a cute item if you did do cupcakes!!! Go for it Lezly!!!!

I'd never have a use for it and however much it costs is probably expensive, but I have to say it's no worse than my lifetime wish for a mug tree, which I finally achieved! How sad am I!!
DH took one look at the cupcake tree and freaked out. "God, how unsanitary, they'd collect dust, attract flies," etc etc. He didn't realise that said cupcakes would hardly even get cold on that tree!

omg!!! that is completely freaking awesome!!! it's one of those things that you're just like "i need that". like a starwars lightsaber....you're probably never going to use it but hey it's awesome! plus for me, i'd probably make cupcakes 4 times a week and eat all of them and gain 209i2098 pounds.

I actually want a lightsabre. I was so disappointed as a kid when I found out they're impossible. :(

Every time I see one of those 'trees' I want it just a little bit more.  Someday I will eventually own one.  Perhaps when its not holding cupcakes it could hold fruit?

I wonder if the smaller size cupcake trees would fit under my cake saver cover.....

Baypuppy, I have one of those three tiered dessert trays. You can stack the plates on top of each other or use them separately. Guess how many times I used my tiered tray?

ONCE!!  ;D

We had a cupcake tree for our wedding cake (exactly one year ago, yesterday!) and bought stacking plates instead of the wire tree. We also read that things fall out of the wire holders-- and we didn't want our fancy decorated wedding cupcakes to go smush. :) My mom and I made our cupcakes and frosting, and then we used sugar flowers from sugar craft dot com (just be careful if you buy from them, b/c some of them have gelatin or other non-vegan ingredients) to decorate, so we definitely did not want our hard work to be ruined. This was our inspiration, BTW, with the cute little terra cotta flower pot on top.

But seriously, there is nothing cuter for brunch, parties, etc. etc. than tiers of lovely cupcakes. I can't wait to have a nice brunch and use the tiered dishes for something beautiful.

I came across this damn tree just the other day and I had the SAME feelings about it!
I also want a tiered dessert thingie! :)
I think I would maybe use that though. I try to 'fancy-up' all our regular meals for fun.
But I've been holding off on getting the tiered trays since it'd just an excuse to make more desserts. ;)
Hmm... Unless I get a more plain looking one and use it to pile stuffed mushrooms on.  ???
