insight on UFC (ultimate fighting championship)--nvr (obviously)

i'm captivated.
mesmerized.
this exist?
i mean, i knew it did, but never watched it.
the guys are obviously great athletes.
my brother is training in the circut actually (we're really, really different  :) ), but, i refuse to watch him.
so, i know t.v. is really, really bad, but sometimes i just can't help it.
i understand there are anthropological roots for dominance and such.
but, wow, i feel really, really sick having seen this, for the first time.
maybe it's the motherly instinct in me wanting the help the guy thats on the losing end.
what's y'all's take on this scene?

i'm at my boyfriend's house and his father's watching it RIGHT NOW. all i can say is that it is very, very, very, extremely strange and disturbing. It's funny that your brother's training for it, though. It's just another excuse to show stereotypical masculinity on t.v.
