I thought that it would be fun to share what we all do......
Right now I work in a restaurant six days a week and I'm also a full time student studying journalism

I'm just more interested in other things that are not on the math/science/technology end of the spectrum.
;D Is that why you're teaching math?

Wasn't my choice. I have to teach what my degree/college experience certifies me to teach.

It's OK. Math is easy to me. Like, brainlessly easy. That's why I picked my major in the first place. I knew it would be easy for me because it comes naturally. In truth, I like the humanities better, even though I have to work at them more.

Dearest KMK,
With your bad ass math skillz, I was wondering if I get into the Doctoral program, if you could pretty please help me with the math portion of it? I realize this belongs in the "open letters" portion of the Chit Chat, but I'm too lazy to go there. I can only do stats as far as math goes, and graduate level stats is a stretch for me at times. Especially MANOVA. Sometimes SPSS. Man, BP was good at this stuff.
I always wished I was good at math... then I found statistics and it gave me some hope. I do enjoy stats. I wish I was better at other forms of mathematics as well.
Love to all those with math skills.
Meggs.

High school and college, but mostly high school. I've worked on tests in Georgia, Arkansas, North Carolina, Ohio, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Michigan.....so far. In fact, one of our fellow vegwebbers is one of my writers on occasion, when she has time in her schedule.
I heart you, Storm.

I a have an interview tomorrow at 2 pm for a permanency at my place of work. I am incredibly nervous, but I have prepared way more than what I have prepared before for a job interview. If i don't get it, I will be disappointed, because I'm competition-driven, but it won't be the end of the world. That's what I'm trying to tell myself. :-\
