Though I've left GA. behind (well since I still own a house there....not totally behind just yet)...I just read an email from one of my animal rescue friends down there that informed me that the owner of one of the hippest veggie resteraunts in GA fell to his death the other day. I had met him years ago when I was playing at the GA. Theater for the first time and ate at his place before the show. After that time, I made numerous trips back there to Athens, GA...at times just to go to The Grit. I remember sitting in his place talking to him for hours one day...about music, about being vegan, about my dogs, about politics, etc. I do remember how nice, well read, well spoken, and what a humble a man he was.

Was really sad to hear this news today..... the loss of one of those on our team...I'm sure Bookmama and Bookpapa have been there, as well as Carmenmichelle and others down South.

Just felt the need to pass it along and share it. If they do I benefit show of some kind....I promise to be there to play and help out.
