We have open letters, but there are times it's more of a "note to self" scenario. So I thought I'd give us a place to put them.
I'll start!
Note to Self:
Baking Powder and Baking Soda are not interchangeable. That is why there are 2--because they're completely different things. You actually know this. So why are you so surprised when your baking flops? ???

lol! I had to do a Google search on this 'Fileofax'. It's a personal datebook/address book, right? I used to use those until I just got sick of the clutter (I hate clutter). I went thru that period of remembering everything I planned and I did well at it. Just now I started using the calendar on my phone and setting alarms as reminders. I've been using this option like, um, like yeah.*
(* - I was making an off-beat joke about the people from your vagueness post, Yabbit. ;) )

note to self: trying to catch a train from central Sydney to wop wop western suburbs in rush hour probably isn't the smartest idea.
NTS: The next time you are making broth from veggie scraps, put them in a crock pot without the lid and let it go overnight. This staying up to reduce the broth is silliness.
Note to Self: Coriander and white pepper powder are both good, useful ingredients. However, they are hardly interchangeable! Label the stupid jars so you know which one you've got, eejit!

NTS - Do not give up until at least three rooms are finished. Finished, not just started! FINISHED!
Well, it was awwwfully spicy, THHF. Edible but...my goodness. Good thing I like spicy food because instead of a teaspoon of cayenne and a teaspoon of coriander, I got a teaspoon of cayenne and a teaspoon of white pepper. Lordy.
NTS: Yes, you want a cup of tea. But you left it too late in the day. You know if you have it now, it'll keep you awake and you'll want a sleeping pill. You also know you're addicted.

Note to self: You did good today resting, taking your medication and going to secretary of state to get information as well as completing your hospital visit. Study your drivers education booklet hard and go get your permit this week. DO WORK!! Rest up so you don't get sick but work as many hours as possible so that you can get your ass to florida.

Note to Self: No wonder you can't find the recipe for the chana dahl you froze, on VW. You used a commercial spice-blend from Shan Laziza. Which is also why it was so delicious, and too much chilli even though you used just a couple of tablespoons.
NTS: Check the weather out BEFORE I am planning to cook a big meal so that I know whether or not it will be safe to be cooking all day or I'll be to dizzy to be near a stove :-\
NTS: Drinking the tea you soaked the dried fruit in was certainly delicious--but was it wise? TWO cups of tea in one day? Hmmm. On your head be it.
NTS: Get the cookie sheet ready first, BEFORE getting cookie dough all over your hands. Washing your hands just to get the cookie sheet out, then getting messy with cookie dough again is just silliness. And a waste of water.

Note to self: If you want to make a cup of tea, it's a really good idea to actually put a teabag in your cup. Letting a cupful of hot water with a spoonful of sugar in it sit there is not going to transform it magically into tea.
NTS: David Suchet and Liam Neeson are both great actors. However they are not the same person and not even remotely related or physically similar.
