No, not more videos.
Open your fridge, and take a shot. No taking anything out, or cleaning!
Tiny, old fridge. Lots o' leftovers in there. Some homemade refried beans, soft polenta, little thing of gross garlic sauce. The squeeze bottle is Goddess dressing from bulk, and the Newman's jar is soy sauce. Green olives on the bottom next to the container of beans. That blue container behind the squeeze bottle is tahini.
Thats what I was wondering!
Counter, or like, table?
whoa you guys just blew my brain! Bench as in, the space where you chop your veges and make your food and such. The flat, clear space where you do stuff in your kitchen!
I would use counter to talk about a shop desk, maybe.
In the kitchen it's definitely a bench. Kitchen benchtop. haha.
Nope. It's kitchen counter here. I would use benchtop for a workshop/garage space. :)
ARGH my brain is blown too! You don't say kitchen bench?!
THANK YOU THEO!! : )
A BENCH IS SOMETHING YOU SIT ON, noobs.
so you're saying Lauren just sits around in her workshop looking pretty and doesn't actually do any work? ouch.

She should, but I'm sure she's better at everything than Evan.
If I think of "benchtop" in a garage, it's still something that kind of looks like an actual bench. A counter does not look like a bench.

Ouch is right!! If I said "bench" I would mean a seat outside (like in a park). If I said "benchtop" I would mean a workspace table.
This is our fridge right now. lit-rally empty.

Not because we can't afford to buy food, but I've been trying to save on less, and buying all whole foods. I somehow managed to make some cashew alfredo today with our last bag of pasta, a lemon, and the remaining bag of spinach. It was pretty impressive. We're going shopping tonight! There is nothing in the two fruit/other bowls on top of the fridge, and not much in the pantry!
Oh, so it's not LIT-RALLY empty since there's stuff in there, but you know.
I knew what you meant by bench space oww, but you are most definitely wrong. It is a kitchen counter.
this is a bench:

THIS is a gorram bench.

I dunneveno wtf you are on about with your "counters". These are counters:

Good luck chopping onions on those!
Besides, if we are talking sittable benches, I would have said that the type of bench you can sit on doesn't have a back, eg:

Is...that...your... 'bench' (counter)??
so what would you call a bench that has a back?
AC - sadly no, I wish it was, it's pretty!
Hespy - a seat?
eta: This is my bench (not great photos but you kinda get the idea, it's nice and big :D

Whoa, that's huge!!!! We have none! We either call it counter space or if it's not attached we call it an island.
hehe, yah Theo, your kitchen really is pretty mint for a flat! I've had some shockers, but I love love love my kitchen now - was definitely high up the priority list when house hunting - lots of cupboards and lots of bench space! : )
She looks like she's working very hard on a VegWeb recipe :)
PANCAKES! : )
oh, wow. That looks awesome, theo. Mine is about the size of that one small shortest part-which is bigger than the last kitchen!
