our wedding :)
WE HAD A PERFECT WEDDING :)
we had so much fun and it was more than we could have possibly hoped for.
for a couple of days before i was grocery shopping and cooking a lot.. the night before my friend made me spend the night at her house so that dustin and i wouldn't see each other until the wedding.. We weren't trying to do anything traditional so hadn't planned on that.
ceremony started 45 minutes late because basically my WHOLE family was late. my grandma wasn't going to come because it was hurting her back to badly to walk on the sand so we got a sand wheelchair thing and dustin pushed her to our spot.
i cried a lot. our officiant dropped my ring in the sand which was hilarious and gave dustin his own. she also prompted dustin to say his first even though i wanted to go first. it was a VERY light-hearted ceremony.. we had it video-taped, but i don't know if the sound quality is any good.
I will tell you all more later, i am running late to something.

ok, so then we had someone drive us to the reception and no one honked (which was one of the only bad things about the day) at the just married sign... i'm sure you guys saw the pictures of the food.. we had dates, grapes, tangerines, cake, spinach artichoke dip, hummus, cranberry salsa, crackers, veggies, cider, vegan eggnog, durian. we cracked open a durian as our cake which was awesome! we actually ended up trying everything, though.. it was all great.
the cat had licked the cake the previous night, which was funny and we covered up with flowers. and we had a great time just hanging out at our reception. annnd we decided to stay in a hotel that night and a friend got us an employee rate on a super nice room at the hard rock in downtown san diego. it was super awesome (we had never been in a nice hotel room before) and the bed was comfy as hell.
oh and a couple awesome things i forgot, somehow we had the EXACT number of chairs we needed for the ceremony, we had the perfect weather and both days surrounding our wedding were cold/rainy... we were just super lucky :)
