People who review recipes

Have you ever noticed how many people review recipes but never post in the forums? I wonder if they know about them? Maybe we should start inviting more people. A lof of them have intriguing names at least.....it might make things more interesting! And the forums have been a bit slow lately....

Yeah, I know I was reviewing a while before I posted in the forums (didn't know about them, then they were gone, then they came back), and then after I knew about them..I still didn't post for a while b/c I had never posted in a forum before!

I agree. I have met some random people in chat and they have sometimes not known about the boards. Maybe its because you kind of have to scroll down to see them? At least on my old and crappy computer.

You have to know that the forums are "hidden" in the VegFriends menu. A lot of people think VegFriends is just a dating/contact thing.
I suppose Admin did this to cut down on the trolls and avoid another meltdown. The cool kids know where it is, right? ;)b

Yup - I have recipes in my personal collection with a note that they came from "Veggies Unite!" - it's been a few years since the merger or whatver it was. But, I was looking at the recipes for years before I knew about the discussion board!

No, it's not "hidden" but since they removed the Q and A tab, if you don't know it's in the VegFriends menu, you think it's gone. As I said, if people think VF is just a contact thread for dating or whatevs, they wouldn't think to look for the forums there.
