This quote reminded me to live each day and to be present in every moment. I found it to be extremely powerful and relateable. I thought I'd share it with you all and I'd love to hear your comments.

Great quote, MegMarie. I find myself falling into that way of thinking sometimes and have to remind myself that life is not a journey to a destination but the journey itself. Thanks for sharing.

It's telling you life is not a dress rehearsal. Very true.
That is beautifully said. That's certainly the case with my own life... it took losing a member of my PhD committee for me to realize that I hated what I had been doing for about 10 years, and was using it as a way of deferring my "real life"... which was unfolding around me and being lived, and had been, all along. I quit grad school and have never been so happy with a decision (not that I advocate this course of action for everyone... for me, it was right!)
The past is gone, the future is not yet...the present is all we have.
