Help! I have a work problem. Long story short, I need to figure out what kind of tree this leaf is from. It looks like a Trembling Aspen, but its from New Jersey, near the shore, so obviously this isn't right. Can someone just take a guess as to what it could be? I wish I could send you a picture. I'm thinking its some sort of Poplar, but I have no clue which one.
Basically it loks just like this, but only 2 inches big.

I was a botany major until I took plant tax and was so scarred by the experience that I changed majors.

really? why scarred? (i have no idea what goes on in that type of class, so help me out here.)
You basically learn to identify monocots and dicots. For 90% of the class it was a fun, easy A. For me, it was a grueling, soul-sucking experience. You have a 90% chance of loving the class, though.
I apparently hang out with a lot of stoners because I this was going to be about marijuana. I don't even smoke! :o :o :o
