Oops, sorry. Didn't realize you guys were old timers. Being an old timer, my memory isn't what it used to be! ::) ;D

No worries Di. I still recall your posts defending feeding your companion animals a home cooked omni meal with Marlene. hehe
Ah the old days. ;)

Holy Moly, you are an old timer! Marlene, pronounced Marlena, did switch to home cooking! You have a far better memory than me!
Wonder what ever happened to her? I remember she fell in love with a British lady and I think she moved to the UK.
She posted about her new love and then pretty much dropped out of the picture. I hope she is happy and well.
Were you on line when Sue Baker was around? Wonderful woman but very mysterious. I so missed her when she left the board.
Or the stupid games we all played. People trying to guess my cats, Smedley Hoover and Emma Orange Blossom's names by filling in the blanks?
How I have matured!!!! ;D ;D ;D
Maybe, deep down in my brain, your name stuck with me. After all, my dog is named after you!

Oh Brad rocks. I wish he posted still. I always loved hearing about Boston from him. And yeah, Baypuppy you are old too. I remember you first coming to VegWeb. hehe ;)
I remember Sue Baker's name but unfortunately too much else is all blank. Tweety sometimes lurks I think. My personal heroine, SparkleJ came around not too many months ago. Lezly posted briefly a while back. Oh I miss internet friends that make such an impact on your life and then either you or they drift away. It just seems to happen like in real life.
I am just darn memorable! Hehehe. ;) Maybe not though. ;) Its a good name anyways!

Brad was a wonderful asset to the board as was Lezly. I am still in touch with Lezly via email. SparkleJ is very much missed too.
Do any of you remember Mindy?
Mindy and I have become close friends. She recently suffered the loss of Hodgie, her cat of 20 years. Mindy is doing well although her loss of Hodgie a couple of months ago has left a huge hole in her heart. I talk to her often.
Sue Baker used to say that she couldn't tell us what her husband did so remained secretive on many things. I often wondered if they were in the witness protection program. She was thoughtful, smart and very knowledgable.
I miss them all on the board.

Yes! Lady Dragonfly was also around back when I started coming to VegWeb. 9 years ago at least. But then I waiver occasionally and stop visiting Q&A frequently.
I do remember the mysterious husband aura Sue had! I simply figured she did not want to mention too much if he worked someplace very non-vegan friendly. *shrug*
Unfortunately Mindy does not ring a bell, but then I have a bad memory for names. :( Too many games played in the interim, friends made and drifted apart already.

I wonder is sparkleJ uses the handle sparklina in the craigslist vegan message board. She is the one who first directed me to vegweb months back. And she played a key role in my decision to switch from o/l to vegan. Sparkalina was a cool one are CL, but she stopped posting cause people there were ass-like, and I stopped visiting because, well.. people there were ass-like... :-\
