Wel.. i eat sorta healthy.. liek a banana for breakfast .. apple fo rlunch.... air popped popcorn with n o salt as a snack.... and salad with something else for dinner; yet every day i also make soemthing sweet, like cake or something and really splurge on that ( which is prolly how i keep my weight at normal ) lol i wa wondering if anybody else is like this.. or if im just plain weird lol
actually no.. that IS what i eat for breakfast and lunch...
That's not wierd at all. My splurge is fritos on a roll with hot sauce. Really unhealthy I know, but it tastes so good!

Yikes, that doesn't seem like very much food in one day!!

Yeah I don't know if I would be able to survive on so little ekkkk...But I agree that saving some calories for dessert is a GREAT idea, yummm dessert :D
I splurge calorie-wise once in a while on dark chocolate, and tortilla chips... but that's more like monthly instead of daily. Beccalynn- you need to eat more! An apple is not much of a lunch :} Unless you're getting a huge punch of calories at dinner, which is called something like the "warrior diet."
I don't splurge on a daily basis, maybe weekly and then it is usually some Seeds of Change dark chocolate or mint Newman-Os.
i definitely splurge. something i am actually trying to stop doing....
but i eat WAY more than you. you probably are not getting sufficient nutrients. get your blood work done and see where you are at.
Pizza, once a week. ::)
Damn Cheese. :'(
yikes girl, how do you live?
Me too I don't want to eat desserts everyday or I should say anything with sugar. We could go a 1 or 2 months without dessert and them bam it hits hits us the mood. I then make it.
desserts aren't as special if they're everyday... not as much of a treat.
an apple for lunch? AH. I'd go crazy...
Not to be critical, but perhaps your splurges are a result of calorie deficiency early in the day. I used to do that- eat really small breakfasts and lunches and then binge at night. I finally started balancing the calories- breakfast 400, lunch 5-600, dinner 5-600. It makes for a much more even day and I don't have cravings. Just a thought. ;)

d**n Cheese. :'(
I love pizza without cheese. If the sauce and crust (wheat~yum) are good, and it is topped with some yummy veggies and my secret ingredient...........................peppers. I like a variety- hot, sweet, tangy....yum. Now, I want pizza.
i agree with everyone else. hun, you can't just eat a banana and apple for a meal.
you need protein in every meal. eat more. don't scare me.

That's EXACTLY how I eat...and my weight never seems to change, which I'm pretty happy about. I get teased by my friends for "eating like a bird", but when you start eating at certain times in certain amounts, it's like it's hard to change. And I love my daily desserts :) :) :)
And I think it makes dieting easier, if I do gain like five lbs over the holidays, I just cut out the dessert for a week and it magically goes away
yay Fee!!!!!!
hehe it seems more worthwile to spend calories on desserts.. lol
plus its easier for me.. cuz my mom get smad when i say there is nothing to eat... lol
Growing up, I only got to eat desserts on special occassions, i.e. holidays and birthdays. I've carried that with me into adulthood and also "splurge" on desserts only during holidays and birthdays. It makes them extra special that way for me.
In terms of a weekly basis, I usually "splurge" on extra helpings at meal time. My boyfriend is such an incredible cook, and it's sooooooo yummy, I just can't deprive myself!
I like to splurge in the evenings on fruit smoothies... high in calories, yes.. but it's easy for me to justify because it's healthy too.
