So I think this will be a good idea for a thread. Hopefully it will encourage people to try stuff. So I'll start it off...
Today was my first time making homemade bread and it came out pretty good ;)b
Today was the first time I ever parked my car in a garage.

Really??
And the first time I've liked raw broccoli.
And really??

Yeah, it's pretty gross. I love cooked broccoli, but not raw. It was only good, because of the dip.
Today was my first time being in KENTUCKY.
Bowling Green has lots of college hotties.

I still think raw broccoli is gross. I've yet to meet a dip that can fix that.

My dip, I'd like you to meet fb. Fb, meet my dip. *Nicetomeetcha*
I REFUSE!! (what dip was this?)
also... the nerd in me appreciated that you capitalized the f of fb for the beginning of a sentence.

It was a ranch dip that I made. I've never made/had a good vegan ranch dip. I can't remember what I did before that I didn't like, because this one wasn't that unique from most recipes, but was perfect. I just did 2-3 tbs vegenaise, enough splashes of soymilk for good consistency (I actually had to use the light vanilla that we have, but it worked fine..just adjusted seasonings, and didn't use much), red wine vinegar, pinches of onion powder, garlic powder, s and p, and dried parsley.
It's weird that I capitalized it, because I always correct my accidental capital f's when I'm doing the reviews. I don't like the way it looks, and you are fb, not Fb.

true dat. I assumed it was the grammar nazi in you.
F-flat. E natural.
EN? En? en? eN? (I'm tired)
I love raw broccoli! :)>>> Dip is good but optional. I would love to make a good vegan ranch though. I don't think I've tried in ages after my last failure.

Really. At my parents' house growing up we had a 2 car garage, so they got the 2 bays and I parked outside. In college, I parked in the designated lots, and now at our apartment complex my boyfriend's much nicer car goes in the garage. But he's away for the weekend, so I parked in the garage. Oh yeah!

I've never parked in a garage. I mean, a parking garage, yes, but not a real house garage.

Oh! That is still a little odd.... but I guess depending on where you live there wouldn't be a need for parking garages.
If you get Kosher ranch mix from the grocery store and make it with vegenaise, it's pretty good.
Kosher can be found around Jewish holidays... and if you wait until after the holiday, they usually have a bunch of boxes for cheaaaaap.
tru fax.
of course, I'm not certain how AC did it (hers was probably better!), but I'm a cheater anyways. ;)

:) I'm sure the mix just has more spices, and probably sugars, and stuff. I do like the Italian dressing mixes better than I can ever make......

When I lived in Indiana I vowed that I would visit Kentucky but then I never did :(
AC, I totally didn't see that you posted that. ahah. I'm going to try that.
Algae, where did you live in Indiana?
