So there is this new-ish facebook-ish website for vegans:

I joined it with a few people from PPK. It's nothing amazing yet. You guys should join it, and it will become amazing!

Oh gosh, me too, all the time! I want to delete everything and only use my computer when absolutely necessary. I actually deactivated my facebook for a while and all my friends freaked at me. Oh well. The internets: 1, Kate: 0. I lose.

lol. well, my plan is to not PURCHASE internet service next year (when i get back from my bike tour) so i will either 1.) steal it from sucker who don't password protect, or 2.) be forced to go to a coffee shop/the library when i want to go online. i figure if it is option two i will spend sufficiently less time online AND be forced to be out and semi-social (a problem when you are a recluse, like me ;)).
my main reasoning for the no internets thing actually has to do with tracking and information that i know is logged about me :o. it creeps me the fuck out sometimes :-\

I like the ppk but I don't really feel like I know everyone like I do here.

It has a chat thinger where you can talk to your facebook friends who are online right now, for one thing. It's really just excessive. I'm not sure if there is anything else new.

Yeah, creepy and annoying. Thankfully I figured out how to set it to "not available" really fast.
I love facebook for its ability to keep me in touch with friends/family who live very far away from me, but I like doing it on MY time.
