Vegan Wedding Registry

My fiance and I are getting married in the summer, and we'd like to have some sort of message on our wedding website that informs our guests about our desire for cruelty-fee gifts only. This excludes leather, wool, down, and other animal-derived materials. I'd like to phrase this message in such a way that does not offend or criticize any meat eaters or sound self-righteous/lecture-y. Suggestions for kindly phrasing/writing this message are greatly appreciated!! Thanks so much!
I found this on-line...it seemed appropriate.
For your gift registry, consider:
* Asking for gifts to charity instead of material things.
* Registering with the I Do Foundation or another site that gives a percentage of gift purchases to your chosen cause.
* Registering with stores that offer local, fair-trade, handmade, organic, or other ecofriendly products like Branch, Gaiam, Greenfeet, GreenSage, Ten Thousand Villages, UncommonGoods, or VivaTerra.
* Registering for outdoor gear or contributions to an ecofriendly honeymoon.
* Creating a custom wish list of planet-friendly items like organic linens or gardening supplies, park and museum passes, gift certificates to organic restaurants, and subscriptions to socially conscious publications or memberships in green causes.
What a super cool idea. I'm so glad you thought of it. I have no suggestions whatsoever, but I think it's really awesome you are putting this at the forefront.
Are you going to have all vegan food?
