They blocked Vegweb at work!!!!! :'( It's strange that it wasn't blocked before and now it is. Hmm.

If your workplace is like many others they probably monitor the number of times certain websites are visited and/or the amount of time spent on them. One person leaving a browser window open all the time on a certain website can really add up day after day. They check out the site and if they can't see a legitimate business reason for users to be spending that much time there they block it.

Yeah, I figured it was something like that. I'm a teacher and I was visiting vegweb everyday during my lunch. It sucks, but at least it isn't a site I'm likely to get in trouble for. :D

You don't say what level you teach, but maybe your admin didn't think Diva cups and vagina monologs (to name just 2) were tasty topics for the kiddies.
And of course you know all veg*ns are dangerous hippy-weirdo types. ;D
