Weird to be saying "Thank God for Walmart"

I always check to see if they have soy yougurt at the Walmart here because I've heard that stores in other towns carry it.  I found to my delight O'Soy peach and strawberry yogurt there yesterday! Now if they keep stocking it, I can get soy yogurt in town and not have to buy bunch at Whole Foods in San Antonio.  That's an actual improvement of life in Uvalde, Texas.

:w00t!:

Are you Vegan?  Because I hate to burst your bubble.  O'Soy is not vegan:  Read the list of ingredients:

Never mind, I see from your profile that you're ovo-lacto.

Anyway, vegans might be interested to know.

I remember that's how I learned it was unvegan when L2A posted about it here.

Kudos to you for making your own.  Sounds good.

Yeah! I educated some peeps!
We have moved on to Wildwood yogurt and everyone here loves it. Its the only one produced in a vegan facility too. That company has some other great products as well (yummy tofu burgers).

I think I do want to make my own though, because I hate that I can't recycle my containes. I can make it and keep it in the containers I have been saving!

I try to be vegan but I only succeed about 95% of the time!  Cow milk and derivatives like whey do a bad thing to my sinuses.  So I did very little dairy even before I turned vegetarian.

Actually a yogurt maker is on my want list.  We are planning on getting one the next time we go to San Antonio.  I hope Whole Foods has a vegan plain yogurt.  Sometimes they don't have plain in any of the veggie brands they stock!
