What to do?

I am getting to the point where the smell of meat and cheese is making me literally sick to my stomach. Mealtimes and going out to eat are getting to be a challenge. Anyone have any tips on how to handle this?

I don't obsess about other people's food choices.  When I smell animal-based "food", I just know that's not my decision.  When you're vegan and eating with omnis, it becomes less about the food and more about sharing time with people, anyway.  A polluting car bothers me more.

Agree with hh! You just eat what you can (or don't) and enjoy your company. There's no real reason to stress about what other people are eating. Try not to sniff the food.

Yup, it's a question of focus. If you're centred on the people and not what's on their plates you'll have a better time of it. We all make our own choices, so if other people respect mine I have to respect theirs.
